TAYLOR® Trunnion Ball Valves are design and manufactured to provide maximum service life and dependability.
Ball valves are part of the quarter turn family meaning that the opening mechanism needs to be turned a quarter (or 90 degrees) to open or close the valve. They are an excellent choice for shutoff applications; however typically do not offer fine control necessary for throttling application.
TYPICAL CONSTRUCTION:
MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION:
TAYLOR® manufacturers Trunnion Ball Valves using a full range of carbon, alloy and stainless materials. Our valves are manufactured using dual rated A105/LF-2 steel, B7M/2HM fasteners, Viton® seals.
Material Test Reports in accordance with EN10204 3.1b are available on each serialized valve.

TAYLOR® has an extensive line of gate valves as follows:
· Parallel Slide Gate Valve
· Pressure Seal Gate Valve
· Wedge Gate Valve
· Expanding Gate Valve
· Geothermal Gate Valve
· API 6D Pipeline Gate Valve
· API 6A Wellhead Gates Valve
Gate Valves that can be either:
Rising Stem
· Rising stems provide a visual indication of valve position because the stem is attached to the gate such that the gate and stem rise and lower together as the valve is operated.
Non-Rising Stem
· Non-rising stem valves may have a pointer threaded onto the upper end of the stem to indicate valve position, since the gate travels up or down the stem on the threads without raising or lowering the stem.
· Non-rising stems are used underground or where vertical space is limited
Bonnets provide leak proof closure for the valve body. AES FC offers gate valves that may have:
Screw-in
· Simplest, offering a durable, pressure-tight seal
Union
· Suitable for applications requiring frequent inspection and cleaning
· Also gives the body added strength
Bolted Bonnet
· Used for larger valves and higher pressure applications
Pressure Seal Bonnet
· This construction is adopted for valves for high pressure service
· A unique benefit of a pressure seal bonnet design is that the seal improves as the internal pressure in the valve increases.
· Compared to other constructions where the increase in internal pressure tends to create leaks in the body-bonnet joint.
Gate Valves that may have flanged ends which are drilled according to pipeline compatible flange dimensional standards.
